performance of various fluorine resin |
E - CTFE (Halar), ETFE (Teflon), FEP (Teflon), the PFA (Teflon) and modified PTFE and parts of fluoride or fully fluorinated polymer material can be processed using thermoplastic processing methods ,They all have the high patience to almost all organic and inorganic compounds, whether acidic or alkaline. These materials show common lasting patience to acid, alkali, solvents and chloride . The molecular chain is between the molecules of typical characteristics of a strong fluorine carbon keys. . These materials of acid, alkali, solvents and chloride, show common lasting patience. Typical characteristics of the molecular chain is a strong fluorine carbon keys between the molecules.
Besidesvarious chemicals strong patience, E - CTFE also shows resistance to mechanical damagere on wear resistance and abrasion resistance, toughness, and totally vacuum patience (e.g. good adhesion) etc under the high temperature. |

overview for performance comparison of various coating system: |
PTFE |
·low friction coefficient
·good resistance to creep degeneration
·poorer melting gender
·melting gender is poorer
·Thermoplastic moulding method processing, but not coating thick.
·good chemical resistance
·emulsion spraying is not sticky and the thickest wear-resisting, lubrication is 80 microns, the range of temperature resistance is betwwen -200° C to 260°C .
(1)the board thickness of lining is 3mm, - 30°C to + 130 °C,
(2)moulding layer thickness is 8mm-10mm,-30 °C to +210。C
|
FEP(F40) |
·similar chemical resistance as PFA
·inferior mechanical resistance as PFA and PTFE
·range of temperature resistance is - 190°C to + 200°C
·More better prevent viscous than PFA
100 microns,range of temperature resistance is - 190°C to + 200 °C
20 microns, range of temperature resistance is - 150 °C.
(3)moulding layer thickness is 8mm - 10mm - 50 °C to + 180°C.
|
ETFE(F40) |
·chemical resistance is best after PTFE, PFA and FEP
·The same outspread performance as PTFE
·range of temperature resistance is -50 °C TO + 150°C
·powder, emulsion of spraying ordinary anti-corrosion is 300 microns,
range of temperature resistance is - 50°to +150°C
·powder, emulsion of heavy anti-corrosion type is 2000 microns,
range of temperature resistance is- 50°C to + 150 °C
·coating thickness for roller is 30°C to + 120°
|
E-CTFE(halar) |
·When low temperature reaches - 40 °C ,
impact toughness is still very well
·range of temperature resistance is - 50° C to +150 °C
·Ordinary spraying anti-corrosion coating thickness is 300μm
maximum coating thickness is up to 15μm
·Lining thickness of heavy anti-corrosion is 2.5 mm,
range of temperature resistance is 30 °C to + 120°C
